Remember, tough times don’t last, but tough people do.
Dear Young Man,
I want to remind you that ending your life is never the solution, no matter how heavy your burdens may seem right now. Always remember this: “This too shall pass.” Nothing lasts forever, not even the darkest of times. You are here for a purpose, and there is a unique destiny tied to your life. You are not a mistake, nor are you a misfit—there’s so much more that you have to offer the world. Your existence matters, and countless lives and destinies depend on you finding your purpose.
God has spared your life for a reason, and no, suicide doesn’t offer anything good. It only brings pain, grief, and lasting agony to your loved ones. Enough of this silent battle that the devil tries to win over our minds.
When you feel overwhelmed, reach out to someone—someone you trust, who can help. If the first person you reach out to lets you down, don’t let that bitterness take root. Seek out another person. Don’t suffer in silence.
Friends, remember that there is always light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how tough it seems now. Keep moving forward.
